questions answered. What are the Rates of Pay like? In the UK
rates of pay are fairly standard between Health Authorities. All use a grading
system, and within each grade there are 5 increments based on nursing experience.
Provide us with an opportunity to assess your skills and we will advise you on
where on the scale you will fit. On top of your basic salary, you may
also receive 'London Weighting' (this is an extra amount added for working in
Central London), a London allowance (5% of annual salary, also for working
in London) and "lead" payments depending on your nursing speciality.
Private Hospitals negotiate salaries within their our scale of remuneration
and this can differ from one hospital to another. Again, our experience provides
us with a good idea of what will be possible in a negotiation situation and it
is our business to ensure that you are offered a remuneration package that is
in keeping with your skills and experience. What about Courses and Education?Yes.
This is one aspect of the UK nursing profession that is taken seriously, and this
means that the UK has the highest quality health professionals - maintaining the
reputation of UK hospitals and nurses the world over. Most Hospitals and
Health Care Organisations offer either in-house education programmes or will fund
further study off site. With the introduction of PREP (a system where nurses keep
a record of further education and courses to ensure continuing registration with
the UKCC), most hospitals provide the necessary higher education to ensure that
their nurses meet and exceed the PREP requirements. If you are considering
taking up further study in the UK, you should first check to see if the qualification
is recognised in your own country and that your work permit will allow it. How
do I register with the UKCC?With ease! Health Professionals will advise
you on all aspects of the UKCC registration and will provide you with a swift
response. One of the Directors used to work at their offices situated just around
the corner from our London branch. We are familiar with all the requirements and

to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK you need to be registered with the
UKCC. The UKCC is the body in the UK responsible for processing and approving
nurse registration. Each application is assessed on an individual basis,
taking into account both education and experience gained as a nurse. The UKCC
application process can be a little daunting, but we are here to make your application

Professionals will assist you in obtaining a bank account. We have a good relationship
with a bank located near to our offices and will help you to open an account on
your arrival. It is a good idea to keep your passport and either a birth certificate
or driver's licence as identification, you may need this for other identification
purposes as well as opening a bank account. It also sometimes helps if you have
a letter of introduction from your bank at home. Once the account has been opened
you will be paid directly into this account by the Health Authority. How
do I get a Work Permit and Visa?Simple. Health Professionals are happy
to help you every step of the way. If you are a non-EU citizen it is likely that
you will need permission to work in the UK, which comes in the form of a work
permit. In order to obtain a work permit, you will first need an offer of employment,
which, of course Health Professionals will arrange for you. Once you have received
and accepted an offer, Health Professionals will apply for your work permit on
your behalf. Depending on where you live in the world, you may also need an entry
visa as well as a Work Permit to enter the UK. More details. What kind
