Our client's operating theatres specialise in a range of adult and paediatric cardiothoracic surgery and is seeking nurses with a range of experience.

Training Facilitator (Theatres) N & M Grade G

Looking at individual learning and professional needs, you will promote a progressive environment of clinical skills training for our theatre staff. You'll develop specific training programmes, identify the scope for new initiatives and act as a focal point for advice and educational counselling. You'll be approachable and creative A good motivator and capable organiser with experience of learning styles, teaching practices and clinical based teaching programmes, as well as specific knowledge of the specialty based on at least 2 years' cardiothoracic theatre experience.

All Grades of Nursing

 

Involved with the total care of theatre patients, you will lead other staff in the management of clinical practice and professional development. Sometimes deputising for the Theatre Sister, you'll keep in touch with current advances in theatre practice and help to develop programmes which enhance the quality of care for our patients.

Cardiothoracic experience in an operating theatre setting is an advantage and the personal qualities and professional abilities which will allow you to make a direct contribution in many areas.
